KAM Part 11- Why Do Blacks & Hispanics Allow Their Children to be Educationally Experimented On?
I'm kind of amazed that black and hispanic people allow their children to be educationally experimented on here in Memphis? I'm only slightly joking about this question. Below is a map of the 2012 charter schools. The vast majority are in Super District 8 and in minority areas. This rush to charter schools in minority areas has happened without much protest or discussion. Why aren't more people saying WTF?

Maybe it's because the status quo is so bad that people figure an "experiment" can't possibly be any worse, and perhaps even better. Also, nobody is forced to go to a charter school.

Or they don't have the same education as you and don't know that they can leave or how to begin to leave. Not everyone has the same life experiences or opportunities.
