I Don't Vote for Traitors to the Union

One of the things that irritates me most is rightwingers accusing liberals of being un-American or traitors for not supporting the Iraq War, wanting people to have healthcare, or whatever BS reason. Well it turns out Republican ticket has some traitorous elements close to it. Sarah Palin's husband was a member of the Alaska Independence Party. AIP is a secessionist party and calls for its members to infiltrate other parties in pursuit of Alaskan Independence. Are you kidding me? The husband of the Republican Vice Presidential nominee is a secessionist. I know conservatives like the old days, but 1860? It wasn't like Todd Palin was a young guy figuring out his political beliefs. He was in his 30's! He knows he wants to dissolve the Union.

John McCain likes to say America First. He should check with his VP because it might be Alaska First. I can't wait to hear how wingnuts defend the VP nominee's treasonous husband.
