Alaska has under 700,000 residents - the entire state. sure makes her qualified to be a heartbeat away from the presidency! AC and WW should throw their hats in the ring!

My mother very eloquently explained it all: nopenotkatie.blogspot.com

My coworkers thought that she looked like Tina Fey...but Elaine is a good comparison too. Maybe she'll do the Elaine dance. THAT would be awesome.

I agree with Katie's mom.
She's a woman.
She's all about the oil reserves.
She's pro life.
She's actually has a chance of living to see 2012.

Elaine gots some ethics problems in Alaska. Not only did she try to fire her brother-in-law and then fired his boss for not firing him, turns out her husband is sent to all sorts of meetings in Alaska state government and is included in top secret emails. When people filed a freedom of information lawsuit, the Bennes administration claimed executive privelege. What is it about Republicans and secrecy. Is Putty actually running Alaska? Isn't it problematic to have your husband, who works for an oil company, running around state government even though he's not a member of state government? Why would oil companies care what's happeing in Alaskan state government?

Donkey, she's so hardcore states' rights it doesn't surprise me at all that normal rules don't apply to her. It does surprise me that she hasn't already attempted to get Alaska to secede.
She is one CRAZY bitch.

Say what you will, she makes the fight to put Obama in the White House even more challenging.
