Where Are All The Catholics When The Subject Is Torture?

Yesterday, Pope Benedict gave a speech for World Peace Day in which he said torture is not acceptable. Here are some quotes:
"not everything automatically becomes permissible between hostile parties once war has regrettably commenced."
"International humanitarian law ought to be considered as one of the finest and most effective expressions of the intrinsic demands of the truth of peace,"
"Precisely for this reason, respect for that law must be considered binding on all peoples."
"Torture is a humiliation of the human person, whoever it is," said Cardinal Martino, head of the Pontifical Council on Peace and Justice. "The church does not allow these means to extract the truth."

It seems as though the church has spoken definitively on torture. So the question I have is, what do all those republican Catholics think about this? They get all fired up about abortion, but their religion doesn't seem to get nearly as upset about Abu Ghraib and US government torturing people. Hey Rick Santorum, Pat Buchanan, Bill Bennet, and Sean Hannity, is the pope right about abortion and wrong about torture? Where is your outrage about this. How many other things do you like to pick and chose to listen too? Capital punishment? How about the church principle of just war? You all know the church considers the Iraq War unjust. So where are all the republican Catholics in the anti-war movement? That's what I thought, cafeteria Catholics.
