International Human Rights Day Rally
for the Memphis Living Wage Campaign

Saturday, December 10th at 1 p.m.
Robert Church Park (downtown on
Beale between 4th and Thomas)*

*Closest parking garage is 250 Peabody Place (on Peabody Place between
3rd and 4th Streets.) In case of rain, the rally will be held at St. Patrick
Catholic Church, located at the corner of Linden and 4th.

A Living Wage is a Human Right!


Right now, companies that receive our taxpayer dollars are violating
their workers' human rights by paying poverty wages. No one should work full
time and still be poor at the end of the day, especially when their employer
gets special tax breaks or contracts from the City of Memphis. Tell the City Council
that now is the time to pass the living wage ordinance, because a living wage is
a human right!

Volunteers are needed to prepare for the rally and on the day of the
event. We will be holding phone banks this Thursday night (Dec. 1st), Monday
December 5th and Thursday Dec. 8th. If you can help, please email Rebekah Jordan at
