Memphis Gas Prices

Gas prices are going to spike badly by Friday or Saturday. 25% of all oil refining is done in the Houston/Galvaston area, also by tonnage it is the largest port in the United States. The refineries have been picking up some of the slack of the reduced production from the New Orleans area. If a category 4 or 5 hurricane hits there than production will be disrupted. You may see $4 to $5 a gallon gas and shortages here in the Southeast.
