Oh God, I Guess I Have to Talk about The Convention

Whew, the convention is over. Thank God. Desi, Ann, Randa and others were able to hold the coalition together. Congratulations. They were more than patient with me. I was definitely the problem child of the Coalition. At least they know I'm a man of word though. Campaigns and debates are for fighting for ideas, but once you make a promise you have to stick with it. Even though the election is over, my views haven't changed.
On other notes- It is an abomination to me that the Admiral, David Robinson is not on the EC. At times like this, the level headed and rational Mr Robinson is not officially in the neighborhood. (Sorry for all the name jokes) David always has his act together, attends almost everyone's meetings, and can debate ideas without it getting personal. A true injustice compared to all the work he does for this party. Second, I got to speak to Dale Gill for the first time. No one can ever say he isn't passionate and informed. He'd like to continue as parliamentarian or secretary. When thinking about it, I sure would miss Dale if he wasn't parliamentarian. EC meetings just wouldn't be the same. One thing's for certain, David Robinson and Dale should fill these two positions. Either would be competent for both jobs.
Third, Laura Davis. Don't ever put those damn stickers on the cahirs! U of M was going to charge the democratic party or your campaign to peel them off. Which I must say wasn't easy, plus they were on like 25 chairs!?!. Jim Vandiver, his friend, Brad Watkins, myself, and Dale stayed and peeled off your stickers.
Finally, I may be setting up the board for people to guess what day Harold Ford Jr. drops out of the Senate race. I'm tentatively looking at Christmas time. I still have to pick the exact day. Note, I just looked at the calender. December 23rd, the Friday before Christmas. Story gets buried in main stream media.
