Bush's Degrading Nicknames

Here is a quote from Tim Noah's article on slate.
Of the many trials facing Supreme Court nominee John Roberts, Jr., perhaps none is as daunting as the ritual humiliation of receiving a nickname from President Bush. The president's penchant for foisting belittling monikers on people is one of his least attractive personal traits. It may be a lifelong habit, but now that he's president, it sends a very particular message: "I will call you [Turd Blossom, Tangent Man, Lima Green Bean, whatever] and you will call me Mr. President." Not since Lyndon Johnson have we had a president who so relished making people feel small. And we're all supposed to pretend that it's endearing!

Bush is a petty little man. It's like the sons of extremely wealthy and successful fathers who turn out to be completely worthless. These sons grow up being arrogant and with a sense of entitlement, while having an inferiority complex because they never did anything themselves. Daddy fixed every screw up or set up every deal that went right. So now we get a little bully like Bush, who melted during the debates because people didn't just roll over in front of him. Now we hear rumors of Bush roaming around the White House quoting Scripture than yelling at people in a paranoid state because everyone is out to get his administration. Hopefully, his doctors will up his zoloft dosage. Imagine if Rove has to go. Does Cheney get to take over if Bush has a nervous breakdown?
